Users can search for RFI at Global level as well as at RFI Module.
- Click the button to select the search to be conducted at global or at local (within RFI module) level.

Users can search for RFI details by entering any keyword at Global level [highlighted by the red rectangle in the screenshot above] i.e. search for the keyword everywhere (all projects & contents) or can search for RFI details by entering any keyword at the RFI level [highlighted by the yellow rectangle in the screenshot above] i.e. search for the keyword within the RFI Dashboard of a project.
According to the search criteria selected within the search-box and the keyword entered, the application will fetch the list of searched items and then display the search results accordingly.
Search at Global level:
- Click the button to select the search to be conducted at global level - click everywhere (all projects & contents)
- Enter the search keyword and click button
The application will fetch all items matching the keyword from all modules.
Screenshot below displays search result at global level using keyword 'Floor':
The application fetches the RFI whose attribute matches the entered keyword along with other items (files, folder, RFI, Submittal etc.) whose attributes also match with the entered keyword.
You can click [Back] to clear the search and move back to the RFI Dashboard screen.
Search at Punch level:
- Click the button to select the search to be conducted at local (within RFI module) level.
- Enter the search keyword and click button
The application will fetch all items matching the keyword from within the RFI module only.

You can click [Reset] to clear the search and move back to the RFI Dashboard screen.
Search Filter:
The Search Filter can be used to search for RFIs using filtering criteria with respect to RFI number, RFI due date, RFI assignee name, RFI creator name, RFI status & custom attribute info (if any). The 'Search Filter' is shown in the screenshot below,
Using the filtering options you can narrow down the search results with the filtering criteria entered.
For example, lets say you have selected the search criteria as 'RFI-level', entered search keyword as 'floor' and entered the filtering criteria - Status as 'Responded'. This is shown in the screenshot below,
The application will search for the keyword associated with any RFI with status CLOSED within the RFI Dashboard screen. The search results are displayed below,
