The Project dashboard is the first screen that is displayed on your web browser once you log-in to the SKYSITE Projects application.


Note: If you have not completed your profile then you will land on the My Profile screen after you log-in to SKYSITE Projects application. Once you complete your profile, you will land on the Project dashboard screen.

Each of feature or component is described in brief below:


1.  Profile: Click this button to access your (account user) profile details and application settings. You can update or modify user information, manage different user accounts (if you have administration log-in privileges), manage account pricing, add new users, manage custom branding and enforce security feature like two-step authentication from this section [This section is described in detail from here].  


2.  Navigation: Click this button to either move to SKYSITE Archives application (if it is activated) or move to Home screen (Common landing screen)

3.Project Dashboard: Click this button to navigate to the Project Dashboard screen (shown above) from any other screen.


4.Send Files: Click this button to open the Send Files screen. This screen lets you email to other users (external or internal) either already existing documents on the SKYSITE by dragging/dropping files or by newly uploading files from your computer. [This screen is described in detail here].


5.Contacts: Click this button to open the Contacts screen. This screen lets you view, export, import existing contacts and create new contacts associated with the project. Also, this screen lets you create groups and companies under which you can place various contacts. [This screen is described in detail here].


6.Buy now: This notification button is displayed when you are using a trial account. It displays the number of days left for trial account usage. Click this button to navigate to the Settings screen. (Account info tab) to buy single user access for a period of one month as per the chosen package. This button will not appear for paid users. [This screen is described in detail here].


7.Project thumbnail: The project thumbnail displays the project name, project size, the user who is the owner (creator) of the project and various operational and status buttons on the project. [This is described below in this help file].


8. Create Project:  Click this button to create a new project [This process is described in detail here].


9.Export to CSV: Click this button to download the information of all projects in your account in comma separated format (CSV) format file, viewable in excel sheet. The file in automatically downloaded in your local computer's designated 'Download' folder.

10.Sorting Order: Click this button to display projects either in ascending or in descending order according to the sorting criteria selected. [Sorting is described in detail here].


11.Sorting Criteria: Click this button to display projects in the screen (one after the other) according to Project Number, Project Name and Owner.


12.Switch View: Click this button to display projects either in List View or in Grid View. The screenshot displayed above shows the files in 'Grid' view. Once you click this button you can switch the view to List View. This is shown in the screenshot below,


The number of functionalities in both the views are same, only the position of features and functions changes.

Click to view the associated activity with the project. (Available at Project level only)

Click to view the shared history of the project (Available at Project level only)

 
Click to mark the project as favorite.

Click to Delete the project.


13.  Type of project (right-hand side):

Click any of these buttons to view any of the three types of projects.


a. Favorite Projects: Click this button to view the projects marked as favorite.


b. My Projects: Click this button to view all the projects associated with this account (created by the account owner, employee user or shared users)


c. Shared Projects: Click this button to view the projects shared to you by different users from other SKYSITE accounts.


14. Search Box: Search for a keyword in the Projects or under all components of the application by typing the search keyword in the search box. You can either search for the entered keyword using the ‘All’ option (Global search) or ‘Projects’ option (Local search). If you select global search then the application will search for the keyword in all components of the application covering entire application or if you select local search then application will search for the keyword in the selected component (in case projects) only. Selectively choose to view by entering one or more filtering criteria through the Search Filter drop-down box accessed by clicking the Filter icon. You can search projects by entering the Project Name, Project Number and Description of the project. [The Search module is described in detail here]


15. Utilities: Click on this link to download the additional attachments available for SKYSITE for a more user friendly experience like SKYSITE Sync App for 'SKYSITE Projects', SKYSITE Outlook add in & SKYSITE Device application.


16.  Contact us: Click on this link to contact SKYSITE customer support or provide temporary access to SKYSITE support team.


17.  Sign out: Click on this link to logout of the application.

Project thumbnail description

The project thumbnail is described below along with screenshot,

  1. Project name: The name of the project entered during project creation

  2. Project owner: The name of the user who created the project

  3.  [Notification] button: On clicking this button user will be able to view the pending Submittal, RFIs and Punch items.

    1. Pending submittal items: Click this button to view the number of Submittal items assigned to you & to which you have not yet responded. The number of pending submittal items is also displayed on top of the icon. This is described in the Submittal section of this help.

    2. Pending RFIs: Click this button to view the number of RFIs assigned to you & to which you have not yet responded. The number of pending RFIs is also displayed on top of the icon. This is described in the RFI section of this help.

    3. Pending Punch items: Click this button to view the number of Punch items assigned to you & to which you have not yet responded. The number of pending Punch items is also displayed on top of the icon. This is described in the Punchlist section of this help.

  4. More options: Click this button to open the [More options] menu. Brief description of each of these items are given below,

  5. Password-protected project: The password-protectedbutton implies that the project is password-protected. The             project password is entered during project creation (this is an optional feature). When you try to enter the project, the application     will ask for the password entered during project creation.

  6. Project number: This number  is the project number entered during project creation (optional).

  7. Project marked as favorite: Click thisicon to mark your project as favorite. This icon will turn to yellow color once the     project is marked as favorite.
