Accessing & Understanding Message Board Screen

Follow the given procedure to access the Message Board screen:

  1. After opening the application click on  to gain access to the Collection Files tool-bar. This tool-bar opens at the top right-hand portion of the screen.

  2.  On this tool-bar click on the down- arrow beside the Communication button. Click on the  (Message Board button) from this drop-down. 

  3. Select a Collection from the Select Collection drop-down list in the left hand panel . The Message Board of the selected Collection will be displayed on the User Message screen. The User Message screen is shown below,

 

 

The tree menu of the Message Board includes the following folders:

  • User Message: This folder has three types of folders within it. The count of user messages is also displayed. These user messages are created from Collection Team screen. Refer to Sending Message to Collection Team Member for more details. The three types of folders are described below, 

  • Alert - Any type of activity performed by users on any Collection folders & files will be displayed as alert. These activities may include addition of files in a folder, file deletion from folder etc. Today's i.e. Current Date's activities are displayed in Today's folder, and other days Collection activity alerts are displayed in Others folder. Alerts are system-generated messages.

  • General Message – Any type of message which are send by one team member to the other from the Send Message functionality on the Collection Team screen, are displayed under this folder. Today's i.e. Current Date's general messages are displayed in Today's folder, and other days general messages are displayed in Others folder.

  • Mail Message: The user can view the message(s) send through e-mail related to that Collection from the Send Messagefunctionality on the Collection Team screen within the Mail Message folder. Today's i.e. Current Date's email messages are displayed in Today's folder, and other days email messages are displayed in Others folder.

  • Tasks: Tasks fetched from the Collection Tasks screen are displayed in this folder. This folder consists of three more folders within it –

  • Over Due – The overdue tasks are displayed in the Tasks screen.
  • Next 7 days – The tasks that are to be completed within the next 7 days are displayed in the Tasks screen.
  • Others Tasks – Others tasks are displayed in this section.
  • Communication: A user can get all the communication reports related to the selected Collection, received through e-mails. The Communication Messages are fetched from the Communication Module.
